Scream 6 Full Plot Leaked, Spoilers and Ghostface Reveal

The beloved horror franchise, Scream created by the master of horror, Wes Craven, back in the late 90s recently saw a resurgence last year with a rebooted sequel and fifth installment Scream 5, released on January 14, 2022 to critical and commercial success. The film saw the return of fan favorite characters like Sidney Prescott, Gale Weathers and Dewey Riley played by  Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox and David Arquette respectively. Alongside the veteran cast, the film also starred Melissa Barrera in a lead role. Well, Scream 6 is now all set to debut just one year later on 10th March, 2023 and fans are really hyped about. However, this post is for the select few fans who do not mind spoilers and instead get hyped by them. So, read forward at your own risk as MAJOR SPOILERS follow below.

Scream 6 Full Plot Summary, Leaks and Spoilers

That’s right, the entire plot for the upcoming horror film Scream 6 has been leaked and shared by u/viewernon on Twitter as well as Reddit. Of course, just like any other plot leak ever, we’ll ask you to take it with a grain of salt. However, in the past few years almost all the plot leaks we have come across have turned out to be at least 90% true. Once again, spoiler warning is now in effect, so proceed with caution!

Scream 6 begins as the gang all go to New York for college. Sam decides to move to New York to stay close to Tara. Sam Weaving character is opening kill. Gale is in New York for a book tour but she gets attacked but manages to escape. Sam becomes friends with Danny who’s her neighbor. Tara, Mindy and Chad all make new friends. The gang were all hanging out exploring New York until they see bunch of Ghostfaces in the train but turns out its a prank and it also turns out that New York has a massive obsessed Ghostface fandom.

There’s Ghostface murals all over the city. Kirby who’s now a detective has been investigating Ghostface kills for years all over new York. She doesn’t believe these killers are connected to Woodsboro but believes they’re obsessed Ghostface fans who’re killing for fun. Kirby finds out that the gang are in New York and she tells them about Ghostface killings and shows them the Ghostface shine. All of the gang get Ghostface calls than later in the movie everything changes when Tony Revolori character is brutally killed. The gang freaks out as Ghostface out of nowhere stabs Quinn through the door.

Chad, and Tara escape by going to a completely different way. Sam, Mindy try to escape by going through the ladder into Danny house. They all make it except for Anika who is brutally killed by Ghostface. Next day police are all over the neighborhood and Sam, Tara and the rest of the gang get questioned by Detective Bailey. Then the power in the police stations goes off and Sam and Tara realize that Ghostface is coming. They run out of the building but before they do they see a bunch of dead cops and then Ghostface comes out of nowhere and chases them. This leads them into a convenience store as Tara and Sam manage to escape. Detective Bailey appears and shoots Ghostface but Ghostface survives and escapes. Later the group decides to have a plan and bait Ghostface into a trap.

Final act happens in the shrine where Chad fights Ghostface 1v1 and is winning. He is about to kill Ghostface until a 2nd Ghostface comes out of nowhere stabs and kills Chad. Ethan has a fake out death, Mindy and Gale get stabbed but survive, Kirby gets stabbed after running out of bullets, and Sam and Tara find themselves facing off with 2 Ghostfaces. Then the 2 Ghostfaces reveal themselves as Ethan and Detective Bailey. Ethan’s motive is that he’s a massive stab fan and he wants to become famous so he could be in a future stab movie. Detective Bailey motive is that he’s Vince’s dad who wants revenge and blames Sam for his son death. He’s mad how the media never labeled Vince a victim.

Bailey goes on to say that he’s been living in New York for 10 years and that he left his wife and a young Vince after he found out that his wife is related to Stu. He also says he found out about Vince’s death through the news. Ethan and Detective Bailey start to chase and attack Sam and Tara. They get upper hand and Tara falls but Sam holds her. Ethan is about to stab them but then Danny comes and shoots and kills Ethan. Detective stabs Danny but he survives. Sam starts losing grip on Tara, she smiles at Sam and then Detective stabs Tara multiple times and kills her. Seconds later Sam falls down after losing balance and Detective is about to kill Sam but Kirby out of nowhere reloads her gun and kills Detective.

Similar to the other movies, ambulance comes and we think the movie is over but its not. Kirby goes back to the shine and looks at a mannequin where Jill shirt is displayed. She freaks out after hearing a sound and then starts to walk away but a 3rd Ghostface appears. All of the other Ghostfaces from the 5 movies are Showcased and brutally kill Kirby. Sam who’s outside holding a Ghostface mask hears the screaming and goes inside and sees Kirby’s dead body as well as the 3rd Ghostface. Ghostface says, “Hello Sam, remember me?” and takes off the mask. Movie ends with Sam saying its you recognizing who the 3rd Ghostface is but we don’t get to see who it is. This is where the film ends.
