4K, Blu-ray and DVD Release Date

Universal Pictures has scheduled The Odyssey for release on physical media on November 17, 2026, the same day as its digital debut. The home entertainment release will be available in several formats:

• 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack: Includes the film in 4K with HDR10, a standard Blu-ray disc and a Digital HD copy.
• Standard Blu-ray: Includes the Blu-ray edition alongside a digital copy.
• DVD: A standard-definition standalone release.

Universal has yet to reveal the complete list of special features, retailer-exclusive editions and potential SteelBook variations.

When & Where Will The Odyssey Stream in US and India?

Universal has not yet announced an official subscription streaming date for The Odyssey, but Christopher Nolan’s previous film provides a useful indication of when audiences might expect it. Oppenheimer arrived on subscription streaming approximately 210 days after its July 21, 2023 theatrical release, when it debuted on Peacock in the United States and JioHotstar in India.

Applying a similar seven-month window to The Odyssey, which opened theatrically on July 17, 2026, puts the 210-day mark on February 12, 2027. Since that date falls on a Friday, February 12, 2027 is a reasonable prediction for the film’s subscription streaming debut, assuming Universal follows a similar release strategy. The expected platforms would be Peacock in the United States and potentially JioHotstar in India, although neither platform has officially confirmed the film yet.

For now, November 17, 2026 remains the confirmed date for both the digital and physical home releases, while February 2027 is the best early estimate for its subscription streaming debut.
