Thanksgiving is a 2023 horror/slasher film that focused on a masked murderer terrorizing a small town called Plymouth after a Black Friday sale ends in a tragedy. The Eli Roth directorial aimed to portray the ugly consumerism rampant in America. Based on the critical acclaim and financial success of the film, I think it is fair to say that Thanksgiving was able to deliver on both theme and thrills. However, if you missed the film in theatres as you were enjoying the holiday with your family like a normal person then don’t worry you can catch up with the world now as Thanksgiving is releasing on Netflix soon.

Thanksgiving Netflix Streaming Debut Is Nearby!

When To Stream reports that Eli Roth’s Thanksgiving will start streaming on Netflix from February 17th, 2024. This is no surprise, as being Sony Pictures production, the film was destined to stream on Netflix, the only question was when. This is because Sony and Netflix have cracked a deal making the streaming giant a home for their productions.

The film was made available on digital and VOD platforms on December 19th, 2023 32 days after its worldwide theatrical debut on November 8th, 2023. Thanksgiving also had its physical media release on DVD and Blu-ray formats on January 30th, 2024.

The film is written by Jeff Rendell, based on a story by Roth and Rendell, who produced it with Roger Birnbaum. Based on Roth’s fictitious trailer of the same name from 2007’s Grindhouse, the film stars Patrick Dempsey, Addison Rae, Milo Manheim, Jalen Thomas Brooks, Nell Verlaque, Rick Hoffman, and Gina Gershon.

Thanksgiving is now available for purchase on digital and VOD platforms.
