Clash of Clans – 10th Anniversary 2022, New Obstacles, Statues, All Details

Hey Chief, Clash of Clans is about turn ten and the celebrations will begin with a bang. That’s right, it’s hard to believe that Clash of Clans was released 10 years ago, and it seems like time has just flown by. Though, its not as popular as it used to be a few years ago, but its still one of the best strategy games ever made with over 130 million average monthly users. So yeah, it isn’t getting outdated anytime soon.

The Anniversary Event

Clash of Clans was launched on 2^nd August 2012 and it’s only a few days now for its anniversary. Currently. The July 2022 season is ongoing and the next month’s event would be a celebration. It would come loaded with amazing deals, limited-time rewards and various upgrade boosts to help you build faster. The only reason for Clash of Clan’s decline was the tremendous amount of time it took to upgrade your village. Since, then COC has introduced a lot of price and time slashes to help the players upgrade their village faster, to achieve their ultimate goal of reaching the highest Town Hall level, which is 14 as of now.

Clash of Clans’ Clashiversary event usually follows the same format and here’s what’s going to happen:

• Players will be getting a Gem Boost, which only costs you 1 Gem to Boost your production buildings in Clash of Clans for the duration of the event.
• You’ll see a series of Daily Deals and Special Offers on both in-game currency and real money purchases, including magic items like potions, runes, and books.
• You will also be able to get a unique Statue and Cake item, just like all other years (Explained in detail below)
• 10 different challenges signifying 10 years of Clash of Clans with loads of awards which we will be covering soon enough. They will e interconnected with the arcade leaks you might have seen. But don’t worry we’ll make a whole new post about it if you want.
• Some Clan Capital updates might also be added, however they might not be related to Clashiversary.

Clash of Clans 10th Anniversary Obstacle

Since 2014, Clash of Clans has always introduced a special obstacle during Anniversary celebration and so it will this year. While they are termed obstacle, but special obstacle farming showcases how long you’ve been a part of the game. Apart from that, it enhances the appearance of your village, so most players wait for new obstacles. Usually the anniversary obstacles are Anniversary cakes and this year too you’ll get the 10th anniversary cake as shown above. Its animation is somewhat like “7^th Birthday Surprise” obstacle and when you’ll click on the cake, a ceremonious barbarian will pop out. It sure looks like a very fun obstacle which will add to the beauty of your village. You can watch the full animation here.

Clash of Clans 10th Anniversary Statues and Decorations

Once again, the statues offered by Clash of Clans are a part of decorations using which, you can make your village look more beautiful. This clashiversary we’ll be getting not one, but two different statues. The first one you can see above is the one which you can unlock after getting 20-40 points in the season challenges. It appears like a hand of Barbarian/Barbarian King holding a torch and will surely look amazing in your village. The second one is a bit different however.

As you can see, it is called Goblin King Tribute and this might also be related to the arcade machine leak which will require you to complete the 10 anniversary challenges. Whether this statue will be unlocked during those challenges or otherwise, is unknown at this point. This one looks funny with a bomb being the center of focus and it seems to signify Wall Breakers instead of Goblins.

Anyways, apart from this, we expect to see a limited-time Clan Games with special Clashiversary-inspired rewards. You might be getting free rewards form the trader everyday for a week, so keep a close eye on the trader.
