When it comes to the world of anime, Dragon Ball is one of the most popular series since over 3 and a half decades. Toei Animation and Akira Toriyama have been consistently providing amazing content for our beloved anime and manga series. What was supposed to initially end with the Frieza Saga is still going strong. The Universe Survival saga of Dragon Ball Super breathed new life into the series and fan have been rooting for more ever since.
Just now a new poster and a new trailer of the upcoming animation feature film Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero have been revealed. Here are some things we noticed in the new reveals. But first of all, check out the new trailer down below and the poster featured above.
Behold Ultimate Piccolo
Being centered around Saiyan race prominently Goku and Vegeta, Dragon Ball franchise often tends to ignore other character arcs. Well, not ignore, but they don’t actually add significantly to anything as their power levels are no match to the DBS threats. One such character is Piccolo who grew a lot in Dragon Ball Z but hasn’t done much in Dragon Ball Super. That was until now as in this new trailer we see Piccolo undergoing a transformation which makes him look golden and smoother. So, for the time being, fans are calling him Ultimate Piccolo or Golden Piccolo.
Broly Meets Beerus
The legendary Super Saiyan Broly who is yet to make an appearance in the Dragon Ball series, is back in this film. The last DBS film titled Dragon Ball Super: Broly introduced Broly into the universe and by the end of the film, he made friends with Goku. In a brief frame from the trailer, you can spot Broly and it appears to have met, the God of destruction Beerus and his angel, Whis. This could be an iconic scene as Beerus always likes to test Saiyan’s limits and from appeared in the last film, Broly seems to have none. He went from being a moderately powerful individual to an OP character, who went against Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta, in the matter of a few hours.
Cell Returns?
Cell’s Return was leaked a few weeks back as well but this time fans seem to be pretty sure. Although, there was no appearance from Cell himself, we saw a big ball shaped machine. This was similar to the birthing chamber in Dragon Ball Z Android and Cell Saga. The way the machine seemed to be overcharged and about to explode, fans believe there is Cell inside. Well, it could be, or it could be some other Android, or it could simply be Vegeta/Goku training inside.
