The day is almost here! Sony’s original games are some of the best games ever made with loads of Game Awards titles to their names. One such game is Marvel’s Spider-Man (2018) which was highly praised for its incredible VFX, open world, and insane swing mechanics which made users feel like Spidey themselves. Then, in 2020 we got its spin-off called Spider-Man: Miles Morales which was equally praised however was criticized a bit for its short length. Since then fans have been eagerly waiting Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 which is all set to release this year. Well, today we have an awesome update for you guys as one of the most important aspects of the Spider-Man 2 has been leaked!
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Suits Include Spider-Verse, Maguire, Holland, and Garfield
One of the most crucial aspects of any game that fans enjoy a lot is the various costumes and gears which they can obtain as they progress. Similarly, in Insomniac’s Spider-Man series, fans can obtain various Spidey suits within missions as well as rewards for collections and side quests. Unlike most games though, Spider-Man suits involve a ton of in-universe as well as meta references. As it happens, all the suits for Spider-Man 2 have been leaked, as you can see in the image above. These suits include:
- Symbiote suit with the Knull mark on them
- Miles cosplay suit from the first Spiderverse movie is in the game (it even has a cape)
- Peter’s Anti-Venom symbiote suit
- Comic accurate symbiote suit (has red and blue shading like Venom in the 90s show)
- Across the Spiderverse Miles costume including Spider-Punk and Spider-Noir
- Wolverine themed Miles Morales costume
- Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man Trilogy main suit as well as Black suit worn by Tobey Maguire
- The Amazing Spider-Man 2 suit of Andrew Garfield
- Spider-Man: No Way Home final swing suit of Tom Holland
- New Noir costume with the coat and fedora
- Kraven themed costume for Peter
- Mysterio themed Miles Morales Suit suggetsing that Mysterio is mostly a Miles-specific side-quest chain
The leaker who revealed these suits also revealed that Anti-Venom is an actual symbiote replacement and not just a costume. It also replaced the Symbiote Surge rage boost with a white Anti-Venom rage boost. The leaker also said that Peter was fighting alongside Wraith (Police Captain Yuri Watanabe from the first game) and fighting some arsonists in red-armor.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is all set to release on October 20, 2023 only on PS5.
