Ever since Marvel’s Spider-Man launched on PS4 in 2018, it has generated quite a lot of buzz and a massive fan following. From State of the Art graphics ang gameplay to an involving storyline and well written characters Marvel’s SM had it all. That’s precisely the reason why it gained worldwide acclaim and numerous Game of the Year awards. Marvel’s Spiderman: Miles Morales followed its predecessor’s footsteps and once again proved to be an incredible gaming experience. The only complaint gamers had from it, was that it was too damn short for such an amazing game. Well, anyways it helped a lot in building this universe, and thanks to that, we’ll soon be getting our hands on Marvel’s Spider-Man 2!
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Is Now Live on the PlayStation Store
Fans were really disappointed as Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was absent from The Game Awards 2022 and the last Sony State of Play also didn’t provide any updates about the same. So since Miles Morales was released last month on PC, all fans are now looking forward to Marvel’s SM 2. An year ago, we got a trailer for the same in the PlayStation Showcase 2021, but since then, we have received absolutely no updates. However, there has been a major development today as the game has been added to the PlayStation Store!
As you can see, in certain regions, if you search for Marvel’s SpiderMan 2 in the PlayStation Store, you’ll now see its page with the official logo, design and credits. For now the description read, “The Next Game in the Marvel’s Spider-Man Franchise”. The listing is being found by a lot of people all around the world. That aside, an Insomniac community manager just said to make sure to follow and to add it to wishlist. This means that there are certainly more information about to pop up really soon. Since, we have seen nothing so far from the franchise this year, we expect a bunch of new information before the year ends.
Fans are expecting a full length trailer, release date, and the pre-order dates revelation and honestly, it is long overdue. If Insomniac plans on releasing the game in first half of 2023 it needs to start marketing and hyping fans now that PC ports are already out. A trailer for the animated film Across the Spider-Verse is scheduled for December 13th so after that, we believe the sequel is the next one to get some attention. It is being rumored that a Showcase or State of the Play event is about take place in the coming weeks. But exactly when it’ll come out and what all info it’ll bring along with it is unknown. So, make sure to follow the game on PlayStation Store to receive all official updates first-hand and follow us to receive all unofficial updates, leaks and rumors first hand.
