MCU Phase 5’s very first movie aka Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania turned out to be one of the worst MCU films ever made. And even though GOTG 3 has brought MCU back on track, the hype around Marvel is quickly fading and the skepticism around all its upcoming projects is rising. Among all this arrives MCU Phase 5’s very first TV Season aka Marvel’s Secret Invasion. Execs really tried to hype this series up as the most mature and thrilling content MCU has ever made and with 2 episodes in, it hasn’t yet lived up to that hype. Sure its one of the better ones, but certainly not anything we haven’t seen before or didn’t expect. Anyways, some of the plot for the upcoming season has been leaked, and even though it doesn’t spoil much, it surely hypes us for what’s to come.
Secret Invasion Plot Leaked – Beware Nick Fury!
First of all, SPOILER WARNING is now in effect as the following article consists of some minor and one major spoiler for the series. Of course, these are potential spoilers and not sure shot ones, so if you are interested, only then proceed.
The leaker was very confident that if the script they read becomes the final script, we can expect this series to be buzzed about for months and even years to come. The fifth episode of this series promises to be one of the best episodes ever made by the MCU (dare say, one of the best of all the comic book series). Here’s where the fun begins as Episode 4 will reveal Nick Fury to be a Skrull and possibly the main antagonist of the series. It leaves itself open ended about the fate of Nick Fury.
In the fifth episode we will follow Nick Fury in a frenetic episode, from two different perspectives. We will follow them right from the start, from different perspectives, doing different things and both these versions are said to have the same purpose/motivation in the episode. We will follow the two not even knowing who the real Fury is and why there is another one at all. The episode will test us as viewers and confuse us among these two perspectives. It will close as both these Fury’s face each other and one of them shoots the other in the head.
Episode 6 aka the finale will start with a flashback of where the real Fury has been up to that point. The leaker refused to say more about what happens from this point on, but asked us to expect A LOT from Super Skrull. Another great thing we heard is they haven’t put a Super Skrull here just to fight spies without powers as there are at least 4 powerful MCU heroes listed to appear in the last episode. Leaker isn’t too sure about who got it on tape but from a different set of leaks we received a few months ago, we can confirm a few.
One of them is going to be Quake aka Daisy Johnson who has also been leaked to appear in Episode 3. Next, we have Rhodey aka War Machine who will surely help our heroes. Finally, we have heard rumors about Sam Wilson and Bucky cameos in the show as well. If in case this happens, it has the potential to elevate the show a whole new level. At the end, there will be a huge cliffhanger for Thunderbolts involving General Ross, now played by Harrison Ford. Yup, Red Hulk coming up soon enough!
Secret Invasion Episode 3 will start streaming on Disney+ Hotstar on 5th July 2023.
