Aquaman 2 Post Credit Scene Leaked, Watch Here - And So Falls The DCEU

The story of DCEU (now DCU) since 2022 has been one full of ups and downs. The hype for DC comics inspired movies was rising after The Suicide Squad, The Batman, and Peacemaker and with Henry Cavill’s cameo in Black Adam, the hype reached peak! But unfortunately 2022 ended with a disaster for them as WB hired James Gunn and Peter Safran which brought cancellation of many DC projects. 2023 turned out to be a horrible year for DCEU as Shazam 2, The Flash, and Blue Beetle turned out to be back to back HUGE box office bombs. With DCU rebooting in 2025, Aquaman 2 remained the last surviving DCEU project and so, there was nothing riding on it but to end DCEU in somewhat memorable way. Well, it seems like that isn’t going to happen.

Watch Aquaman 2 Leaked Post Credit Scene Here – Horrible and Kiddish?

As is the norm with superhero films, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom also features one post-credit sequence but it is not something fans would like to remember. In fact, many fans would like to deny its existence. So, what went wrong with this post credit scene? Well, see for yourself.

In the Aquaman 2 post credit scene, we see Patrick Wilson’s Orm enjoying a cheese burger in a restaurant. This plays as a reference to the fact that Orm hates the outer world but is now exploring the lands. Suddenly, we see him grabbing a cockroach, putting it in his burger and then proceeding to eat it with a loud crunch and a nod of appreciation. Obviously, many fans would have been disgusted by it and are asking what the hell this means and why it was done.

Well, apparently, earlier in the film, Orm is convinced by Aquaman that cockroaches are basically land shrimp and in some cultures are considered delicacy. So, obviously, Orm wanted to try them out. Also, as mentioned above, this is the first time he tries a Cheeseburger. So, why not mix it up right? That is pretty much all there is to this scene as it plays as one final gag by DCEU which didn’t go their way.

In fact, fans are now laughing at DCEU and calling this disgusting send-off as what it deserves. A lot of fans have taken to social media platforms like Twitter and Reddit to sarcastically label the scene as “Peak Cinema”, “Absolute Cinema”, of course with Martin Scorsese’s head attached to the statement. Many others also sarcastically called it the best post credit scene in the history of cinema. While others expressed their disappointment straight forwardly, saying that “Patrick Wilson was too good for these films”, “at least kids will love it”, “horrible way to end it all”. Well, what do you think about this scene? Let us know below!

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is all set to debut on 22 December, 2023.
