Watch Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania Leaked Trailer from SDCC
Marvel made it difficult to breathe at SDCC 2022 as it poured in a bucket lot of information on the fans including Phase 5 and Phase 6 plans. While most of the information is public, certain trailers and footages were only showcased to the Hall H audience and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania was one of those trailers. Following is an unclean footage of the same trailer, and rest assured that we’ll update it as cleaner footage arrives. So have a look and enjoy.
In case you can’t understand the footage, Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang is reading excerpts from his new book, “Look Out for the Little Guy,” to a crowd. It’s clear Scott hasn’t been involved in any kind of action in a while. This is where, he gets a call from prison by his daughter, Kathryn Newton’s Cassie Lang, as she is in custody. Scott wants Cassie’s help, but he also doesn’t want her to waste her life. So, he talks about how he saved the world, while Michael Douglas’ Hank Pym instantly calls Scott out for constantly pointing it out. Unfortunately for Scott, Michelle Pfeiffer’s Janet van Dyne and Evangeline Lilly’s Hope also pile on him.
Anyways, it cuts to Kang the Conqueror saying, “You’re an interesting man, Scott Lang,” and points out how many years Scott missed trapped in the Quantum Realm. “You’ve lost a lot of time, but time, it isn’t what you think. It’s not a straight line.” Something in a lab explodes and they all start getting sucked into the Quantum Realm. The Ant Family ends up in another world, navigating it in new suits as Bill Murray’s Krylar shows up, and surprise, surprise, he knows Janet.
“Everything you are holding onto, everything you call life, I know how it ends,” Kang says. Scott tells him he made a mistake because he’s an Avenger, to which Kang replies in disbelief, “You’re an Avenger? Have I killed you before?” So, it seems like the plot leaks we brought to you a few weeks ago, are seemingly true and if executed well, this film has potential to be great.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is set to release in theaters on February 17, 2023.
