Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics and a direct sequel to Black Panther (2018). Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is intended to be the 30th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As you might know, unfortunately we lost T’Challa actor Chadwick Boseman to cancer and Marvel Studios decided to honor him by not recasting him. So instead, this film is going to be based on Shuri, W’Kabi, M’Baku, Okoye and the new entrant Ironheart. But Ironheart isn’t the only new entrant, as we now have the first look for Namor, The Sub-Mariner! Moving on, the full plot of the film has been leaked, so read on only if you don’t mind major spoilers.
Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever Full Plot Leaked
The following leaks were posted by DanielRPK on his Discord server after Marvel Studios held test screening for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. These plot leaks might not completely true as many things are often changed after test-screenings. But here’s a brief of the film’s plot and obviously, it consists massive spoilers for Black Panther 2. So, read at your own risk!
The Beginning
The film starts with Lake Bell who plays a scientist and is an MCU original character. She and her team is searching for Vibranium in the ocean, thanks to a device made by Riri Williams aka Ironheart. But unfortunately, Namor is awakened and kills her team. Due to some reason, Namor wants to kill Riri Williams and ask Wakanda for their help. But Wakanda turns him down and chooses to protect Riri instead. Sometime during this or before this, T’Challa passes away from sickness, leaving Wakanda without their King.
Wakanda vs Atlantis in Black Panther 2
On a different note, Riri’s first Ironheart suit is made out of cars but when she gets to Wakanda she gets one made out of Vibranium. Coming back to the main plot, a conflict breaks out between Wakanda and Namor (probably Atlantis) and during that Shuri’s mother Ramonda passes away. Also, apparently, parts of Wakanda are flooded when Namor the Sub-Mariner showcases full extent of his powers.
Post her big loss, Shuri makes an artificial flower to adopt the mantle and the powers of the Black panther. Now as we al know, during the ritual the Black Panther visits their ancestral plane to meet the previous wielders of the title. Shuri expects to see T’Challa but instead meets Erik Killmonger who helps her become the new Black Panther.
The Ending
Shuri makes her own personalized new Black Panther suit and a big war rages between the two great nations of Wakanda and Atlantis. In the end, Shuri manages to defeat Namor, however decides against killing him. M’baku is crowned the new King of Wakanda, which no Jabari had been before, due to his wise decisions and contributions in the war. Whereas Shuri fully takes on the mantle of Black Panther and becomes the protector of Wakanda. Another thing which happens according to the leaks is that Nakia tells Shuri that she has a son from T’Challa (Corny much?).
Black Panther 2 Post Credit Scene Introduces Doctor Doom
As per the leak, they filmed in a post credit with a stand in Dr. Doom which is thought to be the one who sent Lake Bells team. The introduction of Doctor Doom will pave the way for the Fantastic Four film which is due to be the last film in MCU Phase 4. Nothing about the second post credit scene has been leaked yet and there is no guarantee, there will be a second one.
