With Part Eight of Ahsoka now out in the world, Star Wars will be in quiet mode again. To make this wait easier for Star Wars fans, we have put together all the upcoming Star Wars projects coming to Disney+ in the future.

Star Wars: Skeleton Crew

Spider-Man director Jon Watts pitched the series and Jon Favreau made it into reality. Chris Ford scripted Skeleton Crew with Watts. Watts directs at least one of the Skeleton Crew episodes. The storyline follows a group of kids lost in outer space, with a mysterious adult companion played by Jude Law (Force user). Even though Lucasfilm announced a 2023 release date and reaffirmed it earlier this, the show is likely to release in early 2024.

Besides Law, the cast includes Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Kyriana Kratter, Robert Timothy Smith, and Ryan Kiera Armstrong as the four kids. Oscar nominee Kerry Condon in an undisclosed role. The timeline is concurrent with other MandoVerse shows like The Mandalorian or Ahsoka. Besides Watts, the all-star list of directors includes Jake Schreier, the Daniels, Lee Isaac Chung, David Lowery, and Bryce Dallas Howard.

Andor Season 2

Season 2 of the critically acclaimed Tony Gilory series is all set with production. All the cast is coming back including the writing team with the addition of Tom Bissell. This time there will be three directors. We have been told to expect legacy characters and the inclusion of K-2SO in this new season. The filming began back in November 2022 and was scheduled to finish by August 2023 in the UK. However, the Hollywood strikes certainly affected the production. The series aimed to come out in August 2024, however, there is no official announcement yet. This will be the final season of the show.

The Mandalorian Season 4

Like several other projects, The Mandalorian has been impacted by the Hollywood strikes. During the Star Wars Celebration in 2022. Jon Favreau said that he was already writing and confirmed that Season 4 was already written earlier this year. Considering the strike situation, several actors will likely leave the project due to conflicts. It will take a while before things settle down. However, given that the two stunt doubles are devoted to The Mandalorian, it won’t be much of an issue. Aside from that, cast members Carl Weathers and Katee Sackhoff are likely to return smoothly. The Mandalorian may be one of the lucky shows to be released soon.

Star Wars: The Acolyte

The Acolyte seems to be one of the most anticipated Star Wars shows. This will be the first series to feature a lot of Jedi and to focus on the bad guys. However, it is also going to be the first Disney+ series to take place before The Phantom Menace. Amandla Stenberg stars as a former Padawan reuniting with Lee Jung-Jae (her old master) amidst a series of mysterious crimes raising questions at the height of the Jedi’s power. Based on the series production schedule, the show is likely to target a spring 2024 release date.

Tales of the Jedi Season 2

At the Star Wars celebration, Dave Filoni said he had so much with the new animation techniques on Tales of the Jedi, that he decided to do it again. Back in April, they said, that in 2024, a new season of the anthology series is set to debut. The status of Season 2 is entirely unknown. The ongoing Hollywood strikes may have affected the production, and we will hopefully find more information. Since the potential show was labeled as an anthology series, we can assume that new Jedi characters will take the spotlight.

The Bad Batch Season 3

Earlier this year, at Star Wars Celebration, the third and final season of the show was announced to be coming in 2024. The quick teaser that was shown to the attendees confirmed the return of Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand, Wolffe, and Rex. In late June, Michelle Ang (Omega) teased that she had wrapped her voice work on Season 3, so, likely, the Hollywood strikes didn’t affect the should and could still debut in 2024.

Star Wars: Visions Volume 3

Like Ahsoka Season 2, Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 live-action hasn’t been confirmed by Lucasfilm yet. However, it’s been widely reported and after the second season, it seemed like a no-brainer. We don’t have a release date yet. While Volume 1 was put together by Japanese studios, Volume 2 went worldwide and had short stories from studios all around the world, we don’t know which countries will be involved this time. Since the show was originally recorded in local languages and uses international studios, we assume Hollywood strikes didn’t affect the production.
