Andor has reassured fans that Lucasfilms has still got it, as it is arguably the best Star Wars production after The Mandalorian. Its like whenever they show confidence in a fresh concept, they make it work. We have seen the same with Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and The Mandalorian. What Andor has in common with them is that isn’t afraid to take risks and succeeds in being its own thing. Andor did what the sequel trilogy, The Book of Boba Fett, and Obi-Wan Kenobi failed to do, and hence has united the Star Wars fans just like The Mandalorian did. This live-action prequel series centers around Andor’s dark and sinister past and is about to debut its season finale this Wednesday. But as is the case with most productions these days, a major revelation has been leaked! So, tread carefully from this point on, as some MAJOR SPOILERS follow below!
Andor Episode 12 Post Credit Scene Leaked – Behold the Death Star!
Andor prison arc which began at the end of episode 7 and culminated with episode 10 was the single best Star Wars arc since The Mandalorian season 2. Oh sorry, Andor’s very own Aldhani heist arc which preceded episode 7 was pretty awesome as well. Anyways, the prison arc began with your usual routine of prisoners being manhandled, overworked, committing suicides, etc, but it ended on an all-time high with a rousing, dramatic, and tragic escape sequence in episode 10. But the escape sequence is not what we are going to talk about today.
What we are gong to talk about is something fans have been asking since episode 8 – What exactly were Cassian Andor and other prisoners building in the Narkina 5 prison? Well, the latest leaks suggest the answer and it is something that you all were indeed hoping to see. Yes, they were building the Death Star, aka the weapon which made Star Wars a cultural phenomenon. The leak comes from r/StarWarsLeaks, posted by u/Main_Imagination_214 and showcase that following the prisoner’s escape, the construction facility has bee taken over by droids. Furthermore, it is revealed that the parts they are building, are actually being attached to the Death Star!
This is kind of ironic that Andor unknowingly helped in building the very same weapon he would later give his life trying to destroy. Unfortunately, we do not have the actual leaked footage for you guys, but we do have the screenshots of the same, which we have attached below.
Aside from this, there have been a few more leaks regarding the finale, one of which involves Maarva’s hologram inspiring people to rebel. Andor Episode 11 was a perfect penultimate episode which was paced quite well and instead of slowing things down, it built upon its predecessors to set up what we hope to be a bombastic finale. The first eleven episodes of Star War: Andor are now airing on Disney Plus and we’ll see you on Wednesday when we bring you our Episode 12 verdict.
