Last year we got the third season of Amazon Prime’s famed series The Boys. This season has cemented The Boys to be Amazon Prime’s no. 1 show. The show keeps on getting better with each new addition. While other shows wait months after their release to get a green light from the Studio/Network for another season, The Boys was renewed for its 4th Season even before the entire season was out. The showrunner always kept us fans in touch about the filming. It began last year sometime after season three had completed its run. After an intense schedule of filming it turns out that The Boys Season 4 has completed principal photography. They’ve shared this news totally in The Boys fashion. This is great news as we might get to see the series return as soon as later this year.
The Boys Season 4 Celebrates Filming Wrap!
Showrunner Eric Kripe tweeted two photos of himself and announced that it is a curtain on Season 4. His caption read, 2am. We’re exhausted. Bloody. But triumphant. My heart is full of love & gratitude to this all-time-great cast & crew. THAT’S A WRAP ON SEASON 4, MOTHERFUCKERS. The two photos he posted were of him with series stars Jack Quaid and Karen Fukuhara covered in blood, which is something we expect from every The Boys episode.
He did write “love & gratitude”, although there has been no confirmation whether this would be the final season for the The Boys. I don’t think the series should return for Season 5, they should kill Homelander in this season once and for all and which him The Boys won’t be the same. Check out Eric Kripke’s tweet below:

The Boys cast will also be growing, in addition to returning members like Quaid, Fukuhara, Karl Urban, Erin Moriarty, and Antony Starr. New supes Sister Sage and Firecracker will be played by Susan Heyward and Valorie Curry respectively, alongside other newcomers Rob Benedict, Elliot Knight, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and Rosemarie DeWitt (who will be playing Hughie’s mother opposite returning star Simon Pegg). It has also previously been hinted at that Jensen Ackles’ Soldier Boy, who debuted in season 3, might be returning as well.
All three season of The Boys is available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The Boys Season 4 doesn’t have a release date yet.
