No one thought that the craze for the superhero genre would only last for a decade. Since the 2020s have begun, the audiences don’t seem to be interested in comic book films anymore. Box office success of these ventures is dropping consistently. However, if there is one IP that has thrived in this superhero fatigued landscape, it is The Boys. We all know why this show is so successful, because it is everything that the superhero films are afraid to do. On the cusp of The Boys Season 4 release, a lot of set videos are being leaked and today we’ve come across one such video that I believe to hold a significant plot point.
The Boys Season 4 Set Leaks Are Getting Crazier!
The leaked set video from The Boys Season 4 production shows a live TV program set that belongs to the superhero Firecracker, who we know will debut in the fourth season. This “THE TRUTHBOMB WITH FIRECRACKER” show will be an important source of influence in the show and will also lead to some major plot points as evidenced by this clip.
We see Annie aka Starlight barging onto the sets of the sets of the program and punching Firecracker that sends her flying back. Many fans have pointed out that this outburst from Annie is a result of Firecracker revealing her pregnancy on live television and use it against her. The punch from Starlight really seems to “pack some punch” as Firecracker completely disappears as soon as she hits her.
