You can check the teaser below, followed by a brief breakdown. We previously reported about the brief and exclusive sneak peek of Rings of Power, which you can check out here.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Main Teaser

The teaser is clearly a big improvement over the first teaser trailer released few months ago. The show is made on a hefty budget with great scale that’s never before seen for an epic fantasy series on small screen. Let’s checkout the takeaways from the teaser below.

Island Kingdom of Numenor

The teaser delves deep into some of Tolkien’s iconic legendary characters from the island Kingdom of Numenor revealing Isildur (Maxim Baldry), who claimed the one ring that led to his death after defeating Sauron. Along with Isildur, Elendil (Lloyd Owen), Pharazôn (Trystan Gravelle), and Queen Regent Míriel (Cynthia Addai-Robinson) also made an appearance. There are also newly announced characters belonging to Númenóreans such as Kemen (Leon Wadham) and Eärien (Ema Horvath).

More Harfoots in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power

The Harfoots who were glimpsed previously a little in the sneak peek and first teaser, makes a bit more of an appearance in the new teaser and the Harfoots Marigold Brandyfoot (Sara Zwangobani), Elanor ‘Nori’ Brandyfoot (Markella Kavenagh), Poppy Proudfellow (Megan Richards) and Sadoc Burrows (Sir Lenny Henry) were all made an appearance. The Harfoots like previously told were the ancestral breed to the third age Hobbits, who were the protagonists of Lord of the Rings and Hobbit movies.

Elven Realms

The teaser also highlights the Elven realms of Lindon and Eregion, featuring the elves Galadriel (Morfydd Clark), Elrond (Robert Aramayo), High King Gil-galad (Benjamin Walker). The teaser lingered a few moments on Galadriel explaining her dreams/visions to Elrond about the soon-to-be awakening evil.

Dwarven Kingdom

The Dwarven realm Khazad-dûm appears in the teaser, which is ruled by the Dwarves King Durin III (Peter Mullan) and has Prince Durin IV (Owain Arthur), Halbrand (Charlie Vickers), and Arondir (Ismael Cruz Córdova).

Surely the trailer for Rings of power, if it releases can delve more onto the storyline of the first season. We have to wait and see if Amazon drops it next month.
