Fans of Game of Thrones have received a free game as a gift from Epic Games Store. Every week, Epic Games offers free games to customers of the Epic Games Store. This time, the freebies have a limit of two tiles, one of which is Car Mechanic Simulator 2018. The other game is the abovementioned surprise for Game of Thrones fans, called “A Game Of Thrones: The Board Game Digital Edition”, a 2020 title from developer Direworlf and publisher Asmondee Digital.

The official description of the game states, “A Game of Thrones: The Board Game – Digital Edition is the digital adaptation of the top-selling strategic board game from Fantasy Flight Games.”

Martin, A Game of Thrones: The Board Game – Digital Edition allows up to six players to play online, or a single player with up to five AI opponents to play locally. The game is set after the death of King Robert Baratheon and allows each player to assume the role of one of the Great Houses of the Seven Kingdoms in an attempt to assault King’s Landing and claim the Iron Throne.”

There are no requirements for downloading this, as it is with any games distributed for free via the Epic Games Store. All you need is a PC digital storefront account, which can be created for free in a matter of minutes. The game is yours to keep forever after it has been downloaded. However, you just have a week to take advantage of this offer. Both of this week’s free games will be replaced by next Thursday.
