A few days ago Santa Monica Studios officially revealed over 60 accessibility features for God of War: Ragnarok including subtitles customizations and what not. Now it is a hardcore fact that the accessibility features are usually touched upon when the base game is finished. Now just a few days, we saw a retailer reveal God of War: Ragnarok merchandise hinting at a September 2022 release date. And today, we have another such retailer leak which hints at an even earlier release. Let’s have a look at it.
God of War: Ragnarok Releasing in July 2022?
Wario64 a verified dealer affiliate revealed a new set of God of War: Ragnarok merchandise including hats, socks and beanie which became available for preorder on May 31st 2022. The release window for these items was mentioned to be July 2022 which is a solid hint that the game might release sometime close to it. Since, merch releases a few weeks earlier, we’re looking at an August or max September 2022 release date for God of War.

The strange thing to notice here is that it was removed from the a few hours later from the Entertainment Earth website, and if you visit the link now, you’ll find nothing. This basically confirms that they put it on earlier than Sony might have asked them to and that is good news for us, as we now know the game is coming out really soon. We might be hearing some official announcements from Santa Monica Studios really soon, so keep a track on them. Sony State of Play will also take place this week and we expect God of War: Ragnarok as well as Hogwarts Legacy release dates to be announced.
This is not the first retailer that has done so, as mentioned above. 3 days ago on 29th May, we saw a similar incident as @the_marmolade, in a tweet, reported that a retailer GeekyZone had put on God of War: Ragnarok merchandise. All that merch hinted a September 2022 release date in the UK, and now this hints a July release. Anyways, we will keep you updated on the latest happenings around God of War: Ragnarok.
