GTA 6 Leaked Footage Reveals Map Size, Cities, Buildings, and More

There mustn’t be a single soul who hasn’t played any iteration of GTA in their life. It is such an integral part of a gamer’s life that many people begin their gaming journey with GTA. Despite its simple premise the love people have for the game series is insane and that is exactly why GTA 6, the latest and upcoming iteration of the franchise is generating immense hype. The highly anticipated sequel is a long way down the road and even though we still haven’t seen a single trailer, the announcement for trailer alone is spreading like wildfire. There have been a ton of leaks, and the internet blew back in September 2022 as there were some massive leaks, which you can check out here. Today, however, we bring to you a leaks roundup regarding one of the latest leaks about the game.

GTA 6 Footage Leaks Map, Cities, Traffic, and More

As you may know, a beautiful and unfortunate video footage for GTA 6 leaked just a day ago. The leaker revealed the footage on Tik Tok for no particular reason, claiming it was good timing for the most part since the trailer was a few days away. Apparently, he is the friend of the son of Aaron Garbut, Rockstar Games’ head of development alongside Rob Nelson. So, people lucky enough to have viewed the footage shared many important details about the game which are as follows.

The footage suggests parts of a larger Vice City, consisting of 2x the size of Los Santos. Further more, the leaker claims there are three major cities, with four sub-cities, and smaller locations surrounding those areas. There’s a large lake in the middle of the map, presumed to be Lake Leonida or another lake we haven’t seen yet.  The footage was possibly recorded in September 2023, but he held off for the reasons stated previously. The build version is v636.0, about one hundred versions following the leaks from September 2022.

The footage showed three new unknown sports cars and a skate park, alongside an aerial view of the city.  Fans reported that the map size is massive, draw distance is insane, the buildings look great and the general atmosphere is amazing. Some other highlights included the following:

  • The Volumetric Fog is insane
  • The Graphics look stunning
  • The performance looks great and it appears that we will be getting performance mode and fidelity mode on console
  • The City looks vast and detailed
  • The foliage and trees are amazing and when you zoom in on the trees they look hyper realistic and beautiful
  • One minor drawback was that traffic isn’t as dense as you’s would expect but that’ll probably be different when the game comes out

And that’s it from this set of leaks however, we’ll soon be posting more detailed leaks about the game which have arrived online just a few hours ago. So stay tuned!
