Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is almost here and it will surely wreck the world of gaming once it arrives. Now being such a big IP, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has been a subject to a lot of leaks and we have some really big spoilers for the game, thanks to r/SpidermanPS4. Till now we were only getting story spoilers and verdicts but now gameplay leaks have started to arrive, further confirming the leaks we’ve been receiving. Following is one such gameplay leak and massive spoilers follow below. So read at your own risk!
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 – Playable Venom vs Kraven the Hunter
You read that right! Venom is going to be playable for at least one mission in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. That mission is escaping the Oscorp security and Kraven’s Hunters as Venom. Before we move to the main event, have a look at Venom gameplay first:
In this one mission, players will be able to play as Venom as they must escape from Oscorp and Kraven’s hunters. After getting the better of the goons, Venom aka Harry Osborn will proceed to fight Kraven the Hunter. As you may already, know Kraven is looking for a worthy opponent throughout the game and he finally finds one in Venom. There will be a Kraven boss fight where Venom will ultimately kill Kraven and bite his head off. Kraven dies happily fulfilling his goal of finding a worthy opponent, so he could die in a battle rather than of cancer. Have a look at the Venom vs Kraven leak below:
As you can see, at the end of the video, after decapitating and eating Kraven’s head off, Harry is beginning to realise he’s losing control. This is most likely towards the final act of the game. Venom will then proceed to wreck havoc all across the city and also leave a trail of infected people which you’ll most likely need to cure post game. In the end, you’ll have to battle Venom as both Peter Parker and Miles Morales. So, this is probably the only mission where you’ll be playing as Venom! So better make the most of it.
