During the summer of 1957, ex-racecar driver, Enzo Ferrari, is in crisis. Bankruptcy stalks the company he and his wife, Laura, built from nothing ten years earlier. Their tempestuous marriage struggles with the mourning for one son and the acknowledgement of another. Attempting to secure their survival he rolls the dice on one race – 1,000 miles across Italy, the iconic Mille Miglia.

We’re all aware of Michael Mann. The man has given us a film like Heat after all. The veteran filmmaker is returning to the big screen after a long time in the form of Ferrari, the biographical drama based on the life of Enzo Ferrari – the automotive mogul behind the Ferrari car brand. Formula One racing is often credited to be his brain child. This is Mann’s first venture since 2015’s disappointing Blackhat. Adam Driver, one of the finest actors of our times, will be in the leading role of Enzo. The film also boasts a fantastic supporting cast including Hugh Jackman and Penelope Cruz. Based on the trailer, I can see the vision behind the film. The film just feels epic in terms of sound editing and visuals.

The Michael Mann directorial premiered last year at the Venice Film Festival and received a 6 minute long standing ovation which left Adam Driver tear eyed. The film released in theatres on Christmas but if you missed it in festivities then don’t worry, here’s when you can purchase a copy of you own.

When Can You Buy Physical Copies Of Ferrari?

A new report from dvdreleases, states that Michael Mann’s Ferrari will be available for purchase on physical media formats like DVD and Blu-ray from March 12th, 2024. What is weird that we’ve gotten the physical media release but we have no update on the film’s digital release date. Considering that, the streaming release date is out of the question. However, I don’t think the film will be exclusively available in theatres for a long time since the film has only earned $14.6 million. This is figure is nightmarish for a film mounted on a budget of $95 million. Whenever we get an update for the film’s digital release date, I’ll be the first one to inform you guys.

Ferrari is playing in theatres near you.
