Dwayne Johnson has returned to the main timeline of the Fast and Furious franchise after almost six years. The Black Adam star made an appearance in the post-credits sequence for the upcoming “Fast X”. This news is extremely shocking as Johnson’s return is after a six year long public squabble with Diesel. In November 2021, Vin Diesel took to Instagram where he practically begged Dwayne Johnson to return to the Fast & Furious franchise (main timeline). While many thought including me that the decision was to boost the sale of tickets it seems like there is more to it. Since, Fast X is the first of a three part finale of the Fast and Furious franchise, it is inevitable that Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel will star together on screen. So how will they do that if there is an active feud going on. Well, they’ll have to end it, don’t they?
Dwayne Johnson Declares His Feud With Vin Diesel Is Over!
As Fast X is ruling the box office and most of the world has seen the film, we’ve finally gotten the confirmation that we’ve been waiting for over two weeks now. The Rock took to Twitter and made it official that he is back as Luke Hobbs and the very public feud that he had with Vin Diesel, the face of the Fast franchise is totally over. He said, “Last summer Vin and I put all the past behind us. We’ll lead with brotherhood and resolve – and always take care of the franchise, characters & FANS that we love.”
