Evil Dead Burn is a 2026 supernatural horror film directed by Sébastien Vaniček, who also co-wrote the screenplay. Produced by Rob Tapert and series creator Sam Raimi, the film serves as a sequel to Evil Dead Rise (2023) and the sixth installment in the long-running Evil Dead franchise. Starring Souheila Yacoub, Tandi Wright, Hunter Doohan, Luciane Buchanan, Erroll Shand, and Maude Davey, the film follows a grieving young widow who seeks comfort with her in-laws, only for their secluded family reunion to descend into a Deadite-infested nightmare.

Evil Dead Burn Digital and VOD Release
Evil Dead Burn will be available on Digital HD from Amazon Video, Apple TV, Google Play, and other major digital retailers on August 4, 2026. The digital release arrives less than a month after the film’s theatrical debut, giving horror fans an early opportunity to rent or purchase the latest Deadite-filled nightmare.
Blu-ray and Physical Media
Evil Dead Burn will be released on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on September 22, 2026. Collectors will have several editions to choose from, including:
- Standard Blu-ray and DVD editions
- 4K Ultra HD
- 4K UHD SteelBook featuring exclusive artwork by Adam Middleton in collaboration with director Sébastien Vaniček
- Ultimate Collector’s Edition, featuring premium rigid-box packaging, exclusive storyboards, art cards, posters, a collectible booklet, and additional memorabilia
The physical release will also include bonus features such as “Evil Dead: Blazing The Trail,” a behind-the-scenes documentary exploring the film’s production and its numerous homages to previous entries in the franchise.
Evil Dead Burn HBO Max Streaming Release
An official streaming release date for Evil Dead Burn has not been announced yet. As a Warner Bros. Pictures release in North America, the film is expected to eventually stream on Max (formerly HBO Max) following its digital and physical media rollout. Based on Warner Bros.’ typical release schedule, Evil Dead Burn is expected to arrive on Max sometime during Fall 2026, most likely between September and October 2026.
