Fantastic Four: John Krasinski Will Not Return, According to Latest Casting Leaks!

Fantastic Four is an upcoming MCU Phase 5 movie which will serve as a Marvel Earth 616 reboot. Though nothing much has been revealed about the film, it is already trending owing to Doctor Strange 2. Marvel Cinematic Universe is a big deal these days that we encounter new rumors or leaks almost every other day. The biggest reason behind this, though, is that they have proven time and again that anything is possible. And now that they have been working on the multiverse, everything indeed is possible! Ever since John Kransinki appeared as Mr. Fantastic and was hyped to appear in the role in future, rumors about other members started flowing in the air. Now these new leaks hint at what we can expect from the upcoming Marvel’s Fantastic Four film.

Fantastic Four Casting Leaks Skip John Krasinski and Bryce Dallas Howard

According to a new casting leak posted on Reddit via 4chan, the top contenders for the Fantastic Four team as well as the director have been revealed. 4chan leaks have been proven to be quite accurate in the past and so, we tend to trust them, although not fully. If there is one thing that we believe, is almost all these leaks have some or the other truth attached to them. So, without further ado, let’s begin.

While we earlier believed that John Krasinski will surely return as Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic of Earth 616, this leak says otherwise. John Krasinski will not return and it makes sense as he wasn’t well received by the fans, even though it was fans who wanted to see him as Richard in the first place. That aside, Bryce Dallas Howard who was rumored to be the director of the film as well as play The Invisible Woman, has also been leaked to have no involvement. Another such rumor that has been debunked by these latest leaks is Jason Segel as The Thing. So yes, Jason Segel will not play The Thing is Marvel’s Fantastic Four.

Some other things revealed by the leak are that there is no director attached to the project as of now and Marvel is looking for actors in their 20s or 30s as the primary members of the team. Here are the top contenders for the cast of Marvel’s Fantastic Four:

• Penn Badgley as Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic
• Simon Baker as the villain of the film which will most likely be Doctor Victor Von Doom
• Melissa Benoist and Natalia Dyer as Susan Storm aka The Invisible Woman
• Logan Lerman, Freddy Carter, Callan McAuliffe, and Jharrel Jerome as Johnny Storm Human Torch, and Ben Grimm aka The Thing in no particular order.

As of now, no offer has been sent out to any of the above mentioned actors but that might be happening soon. The casting began in sometime in April 2022 and might be announced at the D23 expo in September 2022 after finalization of offers and contracts.
