The Wizarding World is expanding further and owing to that, comes an action role-playing video game called Hogwarts Legacy. After the release of Fantastic Beasts 3, fans do not have much to look forward in the cinematic Potterverse for a few years. So, instead they are looking towards other Wizarding World projects and Hogwarts Legacy was something they’ve been waiting for, since a long time. As you may know, Hogwarts Legacy is an action fantasy role-playing game developed by Avalanche Software and published by WB which release earlier this year in February 2023, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S; April 2023 for PS4 and XBox one; and November 14, 2023 for Switch. As it happens, just a week after its Switch release, Avalanche has released a free DLC for the game!
Hogwarts Legacy Free DLC Released + Contents
After a gut-wrenching Game of the Year snub, the controversial yet best-selling game of 2023 still seems to be rocking the world of gaming. Just last week Hogwarts Legacy was finally release for Nintendo Switch, which means even more sales will follow in the remainder of 2023. Also, considering the failure of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, it seems like Hogwarts Legacy will remain the best seller of the year. Anyways, as it happens, just a few hours ago a major DLC update for the game has arrived.
You might remember, a few months ago, Hogwarts Legacy came up with some exclusive rewards that required you to link your Twitch account with your Warner Bros account. You had to watch certain limited-time streams, which resulted in unlocking some stylish customisation options for your created character. However, most people missed out on the freebies, and for that Warner Bros. Games has officially made the rewards free in the latest patch of the game. Considering the amount of content added, this can actually be counted as a major DLC. The list of cosmetic items includes:
- Charms Professor Spectacles,
- Charms Professor Gloves,
- Charms Professor Outfit,
- Charms Professor Scarf,
- Charms Professor Tasselled Kufi,
- Charms Professor Robe,
- Silver Dragon-Eyed Spectacles,
- Urchin Hat,
- Carmine Lightning Bolt Scarf,
- Lilac Ensemble, and
- Merlin’s Cloak
All you have to do to unlock these rewards is to boot up you consoles/PC, update the game to the latest patch, and run it. Once you’re in, you’ll find all the above listed items in your inventory! There you go Potter-heads, a lot of fun still awaits at Hogwarts!
