The Boys Season 3 Episode 6 titled “Herogasm” already had immense hype around it and it succeeded in exceeding all expectation. It was gritty, gory, twisted, graphic, and the most thrilling episode yet (Read Full Review here). And after the extraordinary Herogasm episode, we thought the quality might drop but The Boys Season 3 Episode 7 managed to not just continue the good work but at the same time knock our socks off! Still Herogasm was the best episode yet and as a result it launched tons of memes. Today we are going to talk about the funniest of them all.

The Boys Season 3 Butcher x Avengers – “Oi” Meme
If Homelander is the heart of this show, Billy Butcher is the soul of The Boys. Without any of these two characters, the show would fall apart and both Anthony Star and Karl Urban have left no stone unturned in proving their mettle. Every Homelander scene comes with nail-biting tension and new levels of sadism, whereas every Billy Butcher scene comes with a quintal of profanity and a ton of swag. Owing to that a series of “Oi” memes have been born.

It all started with The Boys Twitter handle posting bobble head like Butcher sticker saying Oi. This came after the Herogasm episode where Butcher said Oi to Homelander before knocking him down with his heat vision. Although, he’s said the word many times before, but this moment became an iconic one. Since then loads of memes about the same have surfaced online but this new Billy Butcher x Avengers meme surpasses them all! The meme replaces Butcher as Avengers Endgame’s Captain America who says “Avengers… Oi” instead of Avengers Assemble. As a result all the Avengers end up repeating Oii, leaving viewers in fits of laughter.

And jokes aside, we also get to see Billy going up against Homelander in a new BTS image. Now, this could be the BTS for the Herogasm episode itself or it could also be about what’s to come. I believe the former is more plausible since they won’t reveal what’s in store for us like this. That aside, seeing Karl Urban’s shoes, it seems like a practice session instead of actual shoot. Also, Homelander’s hair seem pretty weird, so what’s that about?
