She-Hulk Jameela Jamil Teases Titania's Return in Thunderbolts!

Marvel Phase 4 is going to introduce us with another new superhero with her own show called She-Hulk: Attorney At Law. The show will focus on Hulk’s cousin She Hulk played by Tatiana Maslany. The show is about a superhero girl Jennifer Walters who works for a Law Firm that handles superhero cases. The show from the trailer would have Hulk aka Bruce Banner trying to mentor Jennifer on how to be a good Super Hero. The show’s narrative will be mostly about how Walters will balance between being a lawyer and a Superhero. There was some backlash regarding the show’s VFX for sometime but that is now clear. The Disney+ series has its premiere yesterday and critics couldn’t stop praising the series. This trend of positive reviews at pre-screenings is something the MCU is known for. Several people talked about the show and what it could mean for the MCU moving forward in Phase 5 & 6. However, the one interview that certainly stood out from the others was Jameela Jamil’s who plays Titania.

She-Hulk: Titania Part of Marvel’s Thunderbolts?

Thunderbolts in simple words is Marvel’s suicide squad. They’re a team filled with anti-heroes or even straight-up villains. Recently at San Diego Comic Con, Marvel President Kevin Fiegi unveiled Marvel’s Phase 5 & 6 slat and guess what the Thunderbolts got a place there. They’re getting their own film that will release in theatres on 26th July 2024. This announcement brought a lot of joy to the fans as Thunderbolts are really fun. Also, She-Hulk Attorney at Law gave us a tease of Abomination having a big role in the series and it is not a coincidence that one of the most recurring Thunderbolts character is in the upcoming Marvel show.

At the screening English Actress Jameela Jamil revealed what she would like to do as Titania next. She teased the character’s return in an upcoming MCU project, “I want to drive Deadpool crazy… I love Ryan Reynolds, I love Deadpool so much. There’s so much for the MCU. The Thunderbolts, there’s so many places that Titania can exist in the MCU, because she’s so messy and vile. She’s pissed off most of the MCU. Spider-Man, Thor…she’s got enemies everywhere. Kind of like me in real life.”

After her statement fans began speculating and soon began to draw conclusions on Twitter on Titania being a part of the Thunderbolts. They started to consider Jamil’s candid statement as an official announcement. This was concerning as fans were thinking Jamil has probably leaked the character’s fate in the future MCU projects. Finally Jameela Jamil had to come out herself and clear the confusion. She tweeted that this was merely a thing she “wished” has happened and not something that “will” happen. She said, “Woah woah woah I said I would LIKE to. Come on now man. Don’t get me into trouble with the Feige!”

She-Hulk Early Reviews Roundup - Positive As Usual With MCU Pre-screenings

Another Thunderbolts’ character seems to be kept in the dark, Wyatt Russell told Digital Fix, “No, I’m still waiting. I know they’re doing it. I know that they’re planning it,” he admitted. “I gotta imagine that there’s something in there for me. But yeah, until you get that true actual prompt, like, ‘Okay, this is your start date. And this is when you’re coming, and this is when you rent your house, and this is when logistically you need to start setting up to do these things.’ That’s when I shift my mindset to going to do that, you know? Other than that, before you get that call, things can change on a dime; you never know.”

Jamil’s statements probably do tell us Titania’s fate in the She-Hulk series. She will probably not die, especially if the actress who plays her believes her return.

Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters / She-Hulk,  Jameela Jamil as Titania, Ginger Gonzaga as Nikki Ramos, Renée Elise Goldsberry as Amelia, Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky / Abomination, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner / Smart Hulk, and Benedict Wong as Wong: The Sorcerer Supreme. Apart from the main cast, the Web Series also stars Josh Segarra, Jon Bass, Anais Almonte, Nicholas Cirillo, and Griffin Matthews have been cast in undisclosed roles. Drew Matthews portrays Dennis “Buck” Bukowski, while David Otunga appears as one of Walters’ dates. The character Frog Man will also appear.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will start streaming on Disney+ from 18th August 2022.
