Matt Reeves’ The Batman delivers exactly what it said it would. It features a noir detective Batman who has been stripped off almost everything superhero like. He’s basically James Bond in black PJ’s with even less cooler looking gadgets and equipment. Being ultra realistic, the designs for his Batmobile and Batpod are really bad and so is the case with most of his equipment. But again, it stands true to what Matt Reeves promised and is cool in its own way. Nevertheless it was a major hit both critically and commercially. Although, it’s still on theatres, viewers who want to see it from the comfort of their homes, or the fans who want to see it again are waiting impatiently for its OTT release. Well, good news is that it is coming out on OTT much sooner than you expected!
What streaming service will The Batman be on?
It’s been just a month since it’s release and we already have an OTT release date for the film which is pretty soon. Yesterday, WarnerMedia announced that the Robert Pattinson-led film is officially coming to HBO Max on Monday, April 18, that is just a week from now. Not only that, but The Batman is also set to air on HBO on Saturday, April 23 at 8 p.m. EST. Anyways, WB announced that the film would hit HBO Max 45 days post its release, so the news doesn’t come as a huge shocker.
Can You buy The Batman?
Starting April 19, The Batman will be available to rent or buy on VOD streaming platforms, such as iTunes, Amazon Prime, Google Play, Vudu etc. As for its 4K Ultra HD Blu-Ray release, Warner Bros. have confirmed that it will come out on June 13 2022.
