The Boys Season 3 Episode 7 - Homelander Releases Statement Against Starlight's Claim

The Boys Season 3 Episode 7 is releasing tomorrow and the streaming service Amazon Prime has released a brief teaser for the episode. Through the Twitter account by the name of Vought International, The Boys has released a statement in the name of Homelander which hints at what’s to come in the next episode. Last week’s episode titled “Herogasm” already had immense hype around it and it succeeded in exceeding all expectation. It was gritty, gory, twisted, graphic, and the most thrilling episode yet (Read Full Review here). Now in this new episode our heroes and Vought will deal with the aftermath of all the crazy things that happened during Herogasm.

The Boys Season 3 – Vought and Homelander Fire Starlight

As you might remember, the Herogasm episode ended with Starlight doing a livestream and telling public the truth behind all these events. Now that she has outed Homelander, Soldier, as well as Vought, she has made one too many enemies. Homelander is already pissed at the fact he lost to The Boys and his ego has already been banged. Add to that, what Starlight did, and it may push him over the edge. But before Homelander acts all sadistic and stuff, there has to be some form of damage control.

Due to lack of solid evidence, at this point, it seems like it is Annie’s word against Vought’s. So, nabbing down all her claims Vought and Homelander have issued a statement in their defense. The statement they released is as follows:

It is pretty clear from this that Annie January aka Starlight has been fired from the Seven and removed as their co-captain. That aside, it seems like Vought might blame everything that happened at TNT’s house on Starlight and launch a full on offensive. So, on one hand, Vought will go against Starlight legally, and Homelander will go up her against her mortally. It also seems like now Vicky might join hands with Starlight and help in taking down Vought once and for all.

Also, the final line in the statement reads, “Spreading ‘Liberty’ across the world”. Could this be Homelander’s shady way of continuing Liberty aka Stormfront’s ideals? Or is it just me reading too much into it? Leave your thoughts below!
