Past few days have been a living heaven for Star Wars fans. Owing to Star Wars showcase they got to see the first trailer of Andor, leaked trailers of The Mandalorian Season 3 and Ahsoka, and footage of Tales of the Jedi. That aside Star Wars: The Bad Batch season 2 trailer was also released which is all set to release this fall. We also got to know that Bryce Dallas Howard is returning to direct an episode of The Mandalorian season 3 and now we have awesome news regarding The Mandalorian Season 4.

The Mandalorian Season 4 Confirmed

Yes, The Mandalorian is here to stay and Jon Favreau confirmed a season 4, way before season 3’s release. This is being increasingly observed that studios have developed a habit of confirming future seasons before the release of the upcoming season. From Netflix to PrimeVideo, every studio showcases confidence in certain productions and for Disney Plus, it is The Mandalorian. And rightly so, imho, as it is the best thing to come out of Star War’s bag in like ever. Here’s what Favreau said about the project.

With television, we’re very lucky that we don’t have to rush things through into an hour-and-a-half, two hours. We get to tell stories slowly. So now, as Dave [Filoni]’s doing Ahsoka, it’s very much informing the writing that I’m doing for [The Mandalorian] Season 4. It becomes – how should I put it – more precise.

So, this doesn’t just confirm The Mandalorian Season 4’s existence, but also confirms that it is actively under development and scripting has already begun. Right from season 1 it was a massive hit and something that united all Star Wars fans. It received universal acclaim, both from critics and fans, and therefore, it was granted a season 2. Fortunately, season 2 built on season 1’s promise and turned out to be even better. Fans all around the world agree that this show saved the dooming Star Wars franchise and gave all of them hope for the future of Star Wars.

Although, The Book of Boba Fett turned out to be mediocre for the most part and Obi-Wan Kenobi has debuted a very poor premiere, hope still remains when it comes to The Mandalorian. Every time Mando was on screen in The Book of Boba Fett, the series was at its peak and with the coming of Ahsoka series, the future of Star Wars, especially The Mandalorian timeline, seems bright.

Mandalorian Season 3 is all set to debut in February 2023, and if you want to know everything about season 3 check out this article. To check out the leaked trailer for The Mandalorian Season 3, click here.
