God of War: Ragnarok - All Main Boss Fights and Berserker Bosses So Far

The moment you have been waiting for is here as God of War: Ragnarok arrives tomorrow and the hype surrounding the game is now REAL! At this point basically, the entire game has been leaked online and you can find leaks about anything and everything you want, if you know where to look. We have consistently brought you all the leaked content to hype you, however, in the past few days there has been a leaks bombardment and it is too overwhelming for us to cover. Also since the game is basically out now, we’ll cover only what you ask us to and this article is about one such demand.

God of War: Ragnarok All Major Boss Fights In the Game

Let’s get straight to the point without wasting anyone’s time. Following is a list of all the major boss fights in God of War: Ragnarok, that we know so far. However, we are not sure if these are in the right order. So here they come!

God of War Ragnarok - Kratos vs Thor Full Fight Leaked, Watch Here!

  1. Bjorn – Njorn is basically an Old Norse term for Bear. Kratos will encounter this fight early on in the game and will have to battle this berserk bear. Once Kratos defeats him, he’ll realize that it was actually Atreus in the bear form. How he became a bear? Better experience that yourself! This fight is basically an equivalent to the Giant you fought after teaching Atreus how to hunt in GOW.
  2. Thor – This is the Round 1 fight between Kratos and Thor which was leaked weeks ago and you can view it here. Basically Thor arrives, fights Kratos, tests him, and retreats saying that they are not done yet. This fight is basically an equivalent to The Stranger (Baldur) fight from GOW.
  3. Gryla – Gryla The Giantess is an Ogress in Icelandic folklore and Kratos will be going up against her early on in the game.
  4. Vanadis – Vanadis is basically Valkyrie form of Freya who Kratos upset pretty bad in GOW by killing her son Baldur in the final act. Unfortunately, that created rifts between her and Kratos but we are sure they’ll work out their differences in Ragnarok.
  5. Nidhogg – This is a Dragon who’s tasks is to protect the roots of Yggdrasil (The World Tree) which connects the 9 realms together. You’ll have to battle it when Kratos and Freya go on a quest to extract the power of the roots as Freya needs it for the story. This fight is basically an equivalent to The Dragon (Hraezlyr) fight from GOW.
  6. Heimdal and Gulltoppr – We all know Heimdal aka gatekeeper of Asgard, thanks to Marvel’s Thor movies. However, in GOW: Ragnarok he’ll serve as a boss fight but not for Kratos. Instead Atreus will be the one to battle him, as you might know Atreus is playable in Ragnarok. Gulltoppr is basically his horse and this fight is basically an equivalent to Magni-Modi fight from GOW.
  7. Garm – Although wolves, Fenrir, Skol, and Hati will be our allies, Garm is going to be a major boss fight. Garm is the guardian of Helheim and hence Kratos and Atreus will have to battle him to continue their quest. This fight is basically an equivalent to The Gatekeeper of Hel (Mattgur Helson) fight from GOW.
  8. Hist and Mist – You’ve seen this fight in the trailer as Hist and Mist are two corrupted Valkyries which you’ll have to go up against in Ragnarok.
  9. Thor – Round 2 and the final round of battle between Kratos and Thor will culminate the blood battle between the two powerful Demi-Gods. This fight is basically an equivalent to Baldur Round 3 fight from GOW.
  10. Odin – The final boss of the game will be Allfather Odin himself and this is the fight we have all been waiting for since the beginning of the Norse Saga. This fight will serve as an equivalent to the Zeus fight from God of War’s Greek Era.

God of War Ragnarok – Allfather Odin Leaked!

Another possible boss fight is going to be the Dark Elf Queen Alva, who you’ll battle once but it is not as major a boss fight as the others of the list. However, if you remember, Dark Elf King from God of War 2018 was one of the toughest fights of the game and this one basically its equivalent.

Finally, we’ll have the “Berserkers” boss fights which will basically be an equivalent to the Valkyries from God of War (2018). We currently do not know if these fights will be as tough and challenging as the Valks but yes, get ready for some grind!

God of War: Ragnarok is all set to debut on PS4 and PS5 on 9th November 2022!
