God of War: Ragnarok is now really close to its release as its official merchandises are arriving in July, and God of War 2018 has been made Free-to-Play on PS Plus this month. That aside, Santa Monica Studio has confirmed a 2022 release, released the detailed accessibility features as well. Now, we have leaned that Ryan Hurst, who voices Thor in the upcoming epic game, has concluded his role in God of War: Ragnarok.

Ryan Hurst Has Concluded Thor’s Voice Acting

“You look like calm and reasonable person. Are you a calm and reasonable person?”, the voice actor’s first golden words as Thor were heard in the God of War: Ragnarok trailer. Ever since then there has been immense hype around the character and his antagonistic role in the upcoming game. We have so far seen the Norse God of Thunder in a heroic light, be it cinema or games and this would be his first outing as a villain and a potential hard boss fight.

The voice actor shared his experience as Thor in an interview with California Comic Con Revolution. You can check out the full video of his interview above or by clicking this link. The actor revealed that he’s now done with the voice acting and performed his last bit recently.

“I just did the last little tiny bit of work for God of War: Ragnarok… It (The Story of the game) was super complex and it was this rich tapestry of stuff. I always like to do new things, so to do motion capture for a video game was a lot of fun and there’s a steep learning curve too.”

God of War: Ragnarok Thor is 7 Feet Tall!

Another awesome detail we got to know was that Thor is around or more than 7 feet tall in the upcoming game. Santa Monica revealed a few years back that Kratos’ height in the game is about 6 Feet 4 inches as opposed to 7’6” in comics. Anyways it seems like Thor is a lot taller as well as fatter than him in the game and would make up for a pretty terrifying foe.

“You are in a room about this big but there’s these monitor up there because Thor is supposed to be like 7 feet or something tall. So, you could watch the animated version of yourself in real time in relation to other characters,” he said. When he wasn’t asked he doesn’t look 7 feet he jokingly said “Oh I’m close, I’m close”.

Every gamer knows how God of War 2018 wrecked the world of gaming with it’s immersive storyline, interesting characters, and out of the world graphics. God of War series has always been a force to be reckoned with but GOW 2018 took it to new heights. Ever since then, there has been an immense hype around a sequel. God of War: Ragnarok is one of the most anticipated games right now and those who have beaten God of War (2018) can’t help but speculate what’s next in store for our favorite demi-god and his “boy”.
