Need For Speed New Mobile Game Footage Leaked

Months ago, certain job listings already leaked a Tencent-developed mobile entry in Electronic Arts’ racing franchise. Now a footage consisting just under a minute of gameplay has been leaked with basically confirms its existence. The leaked footage showcases three high-end cars speeding around a large open-world map in both day and night settings.

The 45 second clip was posted to the Need for Speed subreddit by user Clxbsport who claimed it comes from a recent playtest of the current iOS build of the game. The three cars in the footage are the McLaren F1, the Lamborghini Aventador SVJR, and the Gallardo. The map, as many of you can notice, is of Palm City map found in NFS Heat. The leak showcases racing that will look familiar to fans of the franchise, especially the fans of Need for Speed Drift 2019. According to the leaker, the game utilizes a tweaked version of NFS Drift‘s map. The gameplay shares certain similarities with Tencent’s own Need for Speed Edge, as the three currently available cars are able to drift and boost with added flair. The game is rumored to launch by the fall of 2022 but as of now there hasn’t been any official announcement. Rest assured, an announcement for the same will occur pretty soon now. As for PC gamers, a new mainline entry in the Need For Speed franchise is being developed as well by Criterion Games.
