Have you heard about Migration? No, I’m not talking about you moving to a different city. The “Migration” in question here is Dreamwork’s final project for the year. The film is based on a family of ducks that decide to leave their pond in New England and take an audacious trip to Jamaica. Of course if everything went smoothly then it wouldn’t have been a movie. The duck family gets lost in New York City. Despite being scared of this unusual circumstance, this turns out to be a life changing journey for everyone. Dreamworks has been doing great lately but Migration didn’t seem to attract a lot of critical acclaim. However, we all know what to expect from a Dreamworks production, so if you want to watch a nice family friendly movie in your own house then check out Migration’s digital release date.
When and Where Can You Watch Migration Online?
Dvdreleases has reported that Dreamworks’ Migration, will release on Digital and VOD platforms like Amazon Prime Video, Vudu and Apple iTunes from January 23rd, 2024. Migration premiered at the VIEW Conference in Turin, Italy on October 19th, 2023, and was theatrically released in the United States on December 22nd. Meaning Migration will have its online debut 30 days after its theatrical release date. That’s a decent theatre to digital release window.
Migration was made on a budget of $72 million but has only managed to collect $66.1 million in a week of its release. The film will most likely fall short to even break even. We currently don’t have any update on the film’s DVD and Blu-ray release. Same goes for the streaming debut. As soon as we hear anything, I’ll be the first one to tell you guys. The film is directed by Benjamin Renner and stars Awkwafina, Elizabeth Banks, Kumail Nanjiani, Danny DeVito and Keegan-Micheal Key.
