Zack Snyder is one of the most popular directors of our time, if not the most critically acclaimed. His movies have a unique and different tone which resonates with a lot of fans. Due to desperate and continuous efforts by the fans, last year Director’s Cut of Justice League was finally released. As expected, both fans and critics loved his vision and we saw a transition from #ReleaseTheSynderCut to #RestoreTheSynderVerse pretty quickly.
While we may never see Synder’s vision again, we will surely see many characters he introduced. Ben Affleck’s Batman, Jason Mamoa’s Aquaman and Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman will all return in this year’s The Flash movie. Also, Jason Mamao’s Aquaman 2 is also releasing this year. So, Snyder’s legacy will surely continue but at the same time it’s in danger as well. The Flash is all set to conclude Ben Affleck’s Batman Arc in some way and fans fear that it may reset and erase Snyder’s timeline. But all that aside, there is one more Snyderverse character who might return in The Flash!
Will Martian Manhunter Return in The Flash?
The answer is most likely he will. As you may know Harry Lennix’ General Swanwick was revealed to be the iconic DC character Martian Manhunter. Zack Snyder confirmed that he has been the Martian Manhunter since the very first DCEU film Man of Steel. Obviously that was one of the things that hyped fans a lot and made them even more excited about the Snyderverse. So, even though Snyderverse might not happen, it is quite possible for him to appear in the film. In fact, many fans are already excited to see him.

Also, since almost all superheroes of DCEU (minus Superman) are set to, or rumored to appear in The Flash, Manhunter might appear as well. Even if he doesn’t appear in his natural/costumed form, he might appear as General Swanwick. He is a very crucial part of the Justice League and DC, so it is expected that The Flash will set up his future in the universe as well.
