After the heart-breaking World Cup Final loss, Team India has picked up the broken pieces and geared up to conquer their one final frontier were they have not had much success – South Africa. In the recent years, Indian Cricket has really evolved in international territories. We’re not the same timid side who are easily rolled up with the tiniest change in conditions. That being said, South Africa remains a sore spot. This tour of South Africa has began on a good note for the Men in Blue as we tied the T20I series (as first match got washed away) and just last week we won the 1st ODI out of three under the captaincy of KL Rahul. This is a huge achievement as the win came without Rohit Sharma or Virat Kohli, the two stalwarts of Indian Cricket.
India showed great character and dismissed South Africa for measly a 116 on a batting track that is known for 400+ scores – Johannesburg. India comfortably chased down the score and Rahul also became the first Indian captain to win a Pink ODI ever. Ind vs SA: Where Can You Watch India’s Tour of South Africa?
India vs South Africa’s 2nd ODI will take place will take place on the same day as the IPL 2024 Auction – December 19th. Meaning fans will have to choose between the two events. The ODI will begin at 4.30 pm IST and the toss will take place at 4 pm. The IPL auction on the other hand will start at 1 pm. IND vs SA 2nd ODI will have a live telecaste on the Star Sports Network. If you’re someone who wants to stream the match, then Star Sports’ streaming counterpart – Disney+ Hotstar will stream the match, pre show and after show.
IND vs SA 2nd ODI will take place on December 19th, 2023 in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
