2024 isn’t going to be a huge year for Marvel movies thanks to the numerous delays that have occurred in their production. Be it the Hollywood strikes or the internal conflicts that have endured the studio. A year that was going to be full of Marvel goodness, has been reduced to only the Ryan Reynold starrer – Deadpool 3. The film that will officially merge the MCU and the X-Men. The threequel has had its fair share of delays and complications but they were all limited to the strikes otherwise the film’s production was smooth for the most part. Since, the strikes have been resolved now everything is hunky dory. Marvel’s only 2024 theatrical release is back on floors and apparently will also release its first glimpse very soon.
Deadpool 3 Trailer Will Release Soon!
A new report from Daniel Richtman, a trusted industry leaker, Deadpool 3 will soon drop its trailer online. The new footage will come during the NFL’s title decider on Super Bowl Sunday. Meaning you can watch the trailer of Deadpool 3 on February 11th, 2024 as the Super Bowl LVIII will be played at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada. Given the huge stage that the Super Bowl is many enterprises including Marvel, often plan the release of their promotional material at the mega event.
During Super Bowl LVII last February, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 released a trailer ahead of its cinematic debut in May. Regardless to say, I’m super excited for the trailer as Deadpool 3 is one of the only Marvel films that have titillated me.
Shawn Levy is directing Deadpool 3 from a screenplay he co-wrote with Rhett Rheese, Paul Wernick, Zeb Wells and Reynolds himself. This accounts Levy’s third collaboration with Reynolds after previously working on Free Guy and The Adam Project. The film’s supporting cast will include returning Deadpool cast Karan Soni as Dopinder, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Stefan Kapičić as Colossus, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, and Shioli Kutsuna as Yukio.
Deadpool 3 is slated to release on July 26th, 2024 in MCU’s Phase 6.
