Gen V, the spinoff of The Boys, is currently in production, and fresh set footage is giving us our first peek at the next series. On Sunday, a video leaked on social media that didn’t reveal anything about the series but did show some A-Train-related props and items on the side of a set building and some political posters that had been vandalized. While a post further in the discussion (see image below) depicts the posters in a more finished form, the video appears to show them while they are still being assembled. Gen V will be filming till September 27.

Gen V, also known as Varsity, is a production that follows the lives of competitive, hormonal Supes as they test their moral, sexual, and physical boundaries in order to land the most excellent contracts in the best cities. Classified as an irreverent, R-rated series, it has the same passion, sarcasm, and raunchiness as the main series while being partially a college show and partially The Hunger Games.
Patrick Schwarzenegger will play Golden Boy in the series, appearing alongside Sean Patrick Thomas as Polarity, Jaz Sinclair as Marie Moreau, Marco Pigossi as Edison Cardosa, Chance Perdomo, Shelley Conn and others.
Gen V and The Boys would crossover in various ways, according to a previous confirmation from Eric Kripke, who said that portions of The Boys’ Season 3 storylines would “hand over” to Gen V’s first season.
According to Kripke, “There’s definitely crossover, and we’re doing our best to design a universe that sees some of the issues and storylines in Season 3 hand off to the first season in Varsity. Like there’s a presidential campaign happening in the background of that season, and certain things are happening at that school that are both in reaction to Season 3 of The Boys. There’s Soldier Boy, etcetera, but also some new storylines that are happening in that season of the spinoff that we have to pick up and take into Season 4 of the show.”
