Digital Release Date
Toy Story 5 will be available to buy or rent digitally from major PVOD platforms, including Amazon Video and iTunes, on August 18, 2026. The digital release comes roughly two months after the film’s theatrical debut, giving audiences the opportunity to watch Pixar’s latest adventure at home ahead of its physical media release.
Toy Story 5 4K, Blu-ray and DVD Release Date
Disney has officially scheduled Toy Story 5 for release on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD on September 22, 2026. The physical release will also include a limited-edition 4K SteelBook, while a complete five-film Toy Story collection is expected to be available for collectors. Bonus Features and Special Editions: The home entertainment release will include several behind-the-scenes extras, including:
- The Toys Are Back in Town
- Casting Playtime
- Deleted scenes introduced by Andrew Stanton and Kenna Harris
- A recording booth gag reel
- Audio commentary
The 4K release should also offer the expected premium picture and sound presentation for collectors looking to experience Pixar’s animation in the highest available home format.
When Will Toy Story 5 Stream on Disney+?
Disney has not yet announced an official Disney+ streaming date for Toy Story 5. Based on the theatrical and home entertainment window for major Pixar releases, the film is expected to arrive on Disney+ around October or November 2026, putting its streaming debut roughly four to five months after its theatrical release. For now, audiences will have to rely on the August digital release or wait until September for the physical editions.
